Rowena Scriven
Level 5 Diploma in Integrative Counselling
MBACP (Reg)
I work as an integrative counsellor, and I use different approaches according to each individual client. I have a keen interest in Psychodynamics, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person-centred approaches, Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Creative interventions. I have worked with clients through stress, anxiety, depression, painful childhood experiences, low self-esteem, rejection, loss/bereavement, relationship problems, spirituality and difficult life transitions.
I aim to create a safe space for you to be listened to, and so you can feel comfortable to share your concerns and fears without feeling judged or misunderstood. I help you to discover practical tools which can help you to cope better, and also take time to look at some of the underlying 'root' causes of the problem.
I provide support, offering a warm and empathic relationship as we work together to explore the concerns you have.
I have teenage children, and in my spare time, I enjoy reading, walking, meeting up with friends, and watching films and musicals.
